Following a successful in-house marketing career spanning over 20 years in the tourism, leisure, museums, arts, environment and charity sectors, I’m now freelance. I use my skills to help small businesses and organisations deliver outstanding communications.
I’ve worked with many of the best in the region including marketing and PR for the National Railway Museum, Welcome to Yorkshire, North York Moors National Park, National Trust, York Minster and many other charities and small businesses.
I focus on delivering the results you need. I can help with everything from crafting a marketing campaign to drive visitors or launch a new product, to copy writing for a leaflet or an annual report. I can help you get featured in the media. I can also recommend people to be part of a project, including cost effective designers and printers – great if you are on a tight budget.
I’m a natural communicator and if your aspirations are even bigger, I’ve got experience leading stakeholder engagement for small and large masterplan projects. I can even help you to manage a PR crisis, with a rebrand or a marketing strategy.

Outside of work, I’m a wildlife expert and blogger. I run my own nature-inspired handmade jewellery business, Little Silver Hedgehog. I’ve used my marketing skills to get myself featured in the national media and grow a following of several thousand.
